What will it cover?

Anxiety is a natural human response that everyone experiences from time to time. However, when feelings of fear, worry or anxiety become overwhelming, persistent or difficult to manage, they can begin to affect our confidence, wellbeing and everyday life.

Finding Calm: Managing Fear and Anxiety is a practical and reflective workshop designed for anyone who wants to better understand their own experiences of anxiety and learn simple, effective ways to manage it. Whether you occasionally feel overwhelmed by stress, experience anxiety in specific situations, or simply want to develop healthier coping strategies, this workshop will provide a supportive space to learn, reflect and build confidence.

During this interactive online session, we’ll explore what anxiety is, why it happens, and how our thoughts, feelings, physical symptoms and behaviours can work together to keep us trapped in cycles of fear and worry. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own experiences and learn practical techniques that can be incorporated into everyday life.

While this is a short introductory workshop, it focuses on providing realistic, evidence-informed tools and strategies that you can begin using straight away.
